Jimmy + Nina [ Married 13.10.2012 ] | mornington peninsula melbourne wedding photography photographer

I first met Nina at her home to discuss the possibility of photographing her wedding. I instantly liked her; she was warm, kind and happy! At the time I had only photographed a few weddings, yet she trusted me with the job of capturing hers.

After their engagement portrait session I was so excited. These two are so in love, and so comfortable with each other. Their happiness was contagious. I knew their wedding day would be great.

On the day of the wedding, each of them got ready in their family home. Surrounded by their family, closest friends… and LOTS of food!! Poor Nina had been struck with an awful flu, but you could not tell. She looked incredible.

They were married with a traditional service at the Greek Orthodox Parish in Bentleigh, followed by reception at Merrimu Receptions in Murrumbeena. They laughed, they ate and they danced… and danced, and danced! It was so wonderful!

Jimmy’s Best Man and brother gave a truly heartfelt speech, that brought even me to tears. He then presented them with a surprise gift of airfares to Greece! The shock on their faces was priceless!

Please enjoy a small sample of Jimmy + Nina’s wedding photographs…
